Many parts of Gujarat have experienced heavy rainfall in the last few days. District Administrations across Gujarat are working round the clock to monitor and provide rescue and relief where necessary.

State-wide forecast for Gujarat for 01/08/2017:

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers very likely at many places in the districts of Gujarat region and at a few places in the districts of Saurashtra and Kutch.

Further Updates:

  • Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Vijaybhai Rupani, going to flood affected areas in Banaskantha and Patan to boost relief and restoration measures.
  • Health and sanitation related activities carried out in rain affected areas.
  • Food packet, cloth kits, medicine kits distributed in many rain affected areas in the state.
  • Repair and restoration work for roads is going on at a very fast pace in all rain affected areas.
  • Power restoration at Banaskantha is under progress at a very fast pace.
