Many parts of Gujarat are experiencing heavy rainfall. District Administrations across Gujarat are working round the clock to monitor and provide rescue and relief where necessary.
State-wide forecast for Gujarat for 29/07/2017:
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers very likely at most places in the districts of Gujarat region and at many places in the districts of Saurashtra and Kutch.

- Dewatering completed in many parts of Modasa.
- Cleaning drive in reopened schools by teachers and students.
- Cleaning drive in Anganwadis by workers.
- Cleaning drive conducted at Meghraj, Modasa and Dhansura towns.
- Repair work of Maliya Bhuj Railway line is in full swing.
- Rescue operations being carried out in many rain affected areas with the help of NDRF.
